Kim Evans started Little & Friday from humble beginnings in 2007. She occupied a small vacant butcher's shop in the depths of Auckland Suburbia. With the help of friends and family she began prepping all week, baking up a storm on Thursday and opening up the doors to her kitchen only on Fridays.
The original idea behind Little & Friday was to be transparent and make everything from scratch. The food comes straight from the oven to the customer using an abundance of fresh, free-range and organic produce.
Along the way these simple ideals have not changed, but what has changed is that
Little & Friday is not so little anymore. Kim operates four bustling stores open 7 days a week across Auckland. These stores attract many other like-minded people who share the same passion and love for food as Kim does.

with Penguin Books, Little and Friday Celebrations and Treats From Little and Friday. Adapted for the home cook, Kim's approachable recipes and helpful hints allow even the novice baker to master the delights of her delicious cafe treats.
